My name is Brad Casias, and I was born and raised in Sacramento, California but now call Folsom, California my home. After graduating from Christian Brothers High School, I went to Sacramento City College and received a degree in Electronics Technology which landed me a job at McClellan Air Force Base. Unfortunately, there were several base closures and I was laid off, but not before they trained me in the computer/network field! With this knowledge I was able to get a job with Sprint as a Computer Technician. With all of the downsizing and outsourcing in the tech industry, I was eventually let go after 15 years. Even though I found myself unemployed, I was very fortunate that I was able to spend 25 years doing what I loved. Now that I had a little time on my hands, I was able to experiment with my creative side. I had always enjoyed photography and even took a handful of photos that I thought were good, but I lacked any kind of knowledge of what I was doing. I took to the Internet and read every article and watched all the videos on photography and built a solid knowledge base on which I am still learning. I’ve come to the truth that the more I learn, the more I realize how much I don’t know!
